The 1020 CT is a multi-function electrical crimper, stripper, and wire and bolt cutter. The tool features two types of cutters, an anvil type nose cutter which is conveniently up front for tight spaces, and a scissor type cutter which is located behind the pivot point to minimize distortion when cutting stranded wire crimps. The tools crimps automotive ?F? type ignition terminals 7?8 mm size in one cavity, and crimps conductor portion of insulated terminals and splices. It also crimps RED 22 ? 16 AWG BLUE 16 ? 14 AWG and YELLOW 12 ? 10 AWG, and non-insulated terminals and splices. Lastly the strips featured on this tool is a precision ground scissor type. The wire stripper provides a clean nick free strip on 8 AWG solid to 22 AWG stranded, and the cavities are marked by wire sizes and ?solid? or ?stranded?.
